Snow in Spring

I decided to paint the snow on the trees by where we keep our horses. The woods were something out of a fairytale, so white. I'm on a bit of an Eyvind Earle kick so I decided to be inspired by his style for this. It was so nice to break out the paints again. I can't remember the last time I painted properly (I wish I could because I've lost my easel. How can you lose a massive great easel, who does that!?) I really enjoyed making this piece.

Anyway, be on the look out for unicorns, because as I'm sure you know, they can only be born in spring snow.
